Anj + James // Jaisalmer Wedding Photographer

This wedding was featured in Hello May and was awarded Best of the Best Destination Photography from Junebug

I’m not even sure where to start with this wedding, this is possibly one of the most extravagant weddings I’ve shot. Anj and James flew me to Jaisalmer, a small town in the desert of Northern India, to photograph their wedding. Their friends and family flew from throughout NZ and Australia to join them at the huge castle where they held their party.

The thing about India is that things are almost always not what you expect, this was definitely the case for Anj and James’ wedding, but in the best way possible. From the baby lambs that arrived at the 'farmers dinner', to the never ending supply of camels and the amazing tribal musicians that made the days and nights so special, there was always something a little unexpected happening.

James and Anj, you are amazing. Thanks for letting us be part of your celebration, this is certainly one we’ll never forget!

Daniel and Tyson // Queenstown Wedding Photographer

This wedding was featured in Issue 12 of Together Journal Magazine.

Daniel and Tyson flew their nearest and dearest from Australia to the most stunning spot just outside of Queenstown for their wedding. After a freakish rain and snow storm the day before, Daniel and Tyson sat contemplating cancelling their plans. But with a miraculous turn in the weather on the morning of their day the scene was set for a stunning occasion.

Enjoy taking the journey through Daniel and Tyson's wedding day story.

Venue: Ben Lomond Station, Moke Lake, Queenstown.
Suits: MJ Bale

Sonja + Nicolai // Faroe Island Wedding Photographer

Travelling to the Faroe Islands to shoot with two amazing couples was definitely a highlight of my European summer.

The Faroe Islands is like no other place I've visited. With landscapes like Iceland on drugs and with no people to be seen for miles. Sonja and Nicolai joined me on my second day there and together we explored the islands, adventured around the incredible landscapes and shot some pretty epic stuff. The love these two have for each other is really something special and so prevalent in their nature. It was such a joy to shoot with the two of you!

As for Faroes, this country is like nothing I’ve ever seen and I will definitely be back. But until then, here's some goodness for you.
