Laura + James // Warehouse Wedding Auckland

This wedding is published in issue 7 of Together Journal magazine.

Laura and James' wedding was such a special day. These two decided to do things a little different. Their goal was to end their day with a BBQ in their backyard with their family and friends so to do so we started the day early, they had a lunch reception and partied through the afternoon. We finished the day on an Auckland rooftop at sunset before they rushed off to be with their family for the evening at Laura's family home.

Not only was James and Laura's day so special but these two were also amazing to work with. They had a fairly strong idea of what they wanted for their wedding but when it came to the design and photography of their wedding they unleashed full control and simply said, go crazy! And that is exactly what happened. I can tell you, when you tell your wedding planner to go wild, good things happen. We were lucky enough to work alongside an amazing team for this one including Amanda Norwood Design and Leaf and Honey who did the most stunning job on the day.

Harriet and Sam // Sam Cane Wedding Photos

This wedding was featured on the cover of Womans Day NZ

Wanaka is one of the most amazing places in the world and the most fitting spot for Harriet and Sam’s wedding. Rippon Hall put on a beautiful day and everything turned out simply stunning.

Including impeccable details, a ceremony in front of Lake Wanaka, a helicopter trip to Roy’s Peak and a first dance to rival any, this is a special one.

We can’t wait to be back in this part of the world, but for now enjoy Sam Cane and Harriet’s wedding story.

Courtney and Jackson // Queenstown Elopement

Courtney and Jackson are the most lovely wedding photography duo from San Francisco. They brought their friends and family all the way from America to New Zealand for their elopement.

When Courtney and Jackson got in touch they shared some of their dream and vision for their wedding day. They said they wanted to get married in the mountains near Queenstown and I told them I knew the perfect location!

After their ceremony we took a helicopter into the mountains for their photoshoot near Milford Sounds. We scoured the hills until the sun was almost gone. We then returned to their reception for a wild party in a tipi tent they had set up at their Airbnb.

Location: The middle of nowhere near Queenstown - ask us ;)
Tipi: Gather and Gold Tipis
Styling: One Fine Day
